The short version. Browsing MobiWorth sets no cookies. Your theme and accent choices are written to your browser's local storage, a cookie appears only if you sign in to the staff area, and there is no advertising or analytics script to consent to. Because there is nothing optional to choose, we do not show a cookie banner.
1. What a cookie is, and what else we use
A cookie is a small file a server asks your browser to keep and send back on later requests. Local storage is the sibling mechanism: the same kind of small value, but it stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us. Most of what this site remembers is local storage, which means it cannot follow you between sites.
2. What this site actually stores
Local storage (your browser, never sent to us)
- Theme — whether you are on the light or dark appearance, so the next page loads the same way
- mobiworth-color-theme — the accent colour you picked from the header swatches
In the address, not in storage
What you have queued for comparison is kept in the page and reflected in the address bar so Back, Forward and a copied link all land on the same result. It is not written to your browser's storage — close the tab and it is gone. Nothing about your search persists on this site beyond the two preferences above.
Cookies
- Sign-in session — set only for an authenticated staff account, so the admin area knows who is asking. A visitor searching phones never receives it
Clearing either kind is a browser setting, not a switch we provide. Removing them costs you nothing but your chosen theme and accent.
3. What we do not use
Stated plainly, because most cookie policies promise these away:
- No advertising or retargeting cookies — we do not build an audience and there is nothing to serve you later
- No cross-site tracking — no third-party tag is loaded on our pages
- No analytics script — there is no measurement tag on this site; if we add one, this page changes first
- No consent banner — with nothing optional to approve, a banner asking you to accept nothing would be noise
4. Counts we keep on our side
When you click through to a partner, we increase a total on that record so the listing shows how often it was used. That is a number attached to a deal, not a profile attached to you. Your device's IP address and browser details may appear in ordinary hosting logs used to spot abuse; we do not turn those into advertising identities.
5. After you leave
Outbound links carry a MobiWorth tag so a partner can see where the visitor came from, and destinations are checked against the domains we register for each platform. Once you are on a partner's page, their cookies and their policy govern what happens next — we cannot set, read or remove them for you.
6. Your choices
- Browser settings — block or delete cookies and site data for mobiworth.in at any point
- Private browsing — nothing persists once the window closes, at the cost of losing your theme
- Do-not-track style settings — there is nothing here to honour, because there is no tracking to stop
Blocking the session cookie does not affect the comparison service; it only prevents the staff area from staying signed in.
7. Governing framework
MobiWorth operates in India and treats the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as the applicable regime. We do not claim GDPR or CCPA certification, and we do not describe ourselves as audited. What we do claim: the list above matches the code, and a new tracker means a new line here before it goes live.
8. Changes
If we start storing something in your browser, this page is updated and dated. A material widening is not something we would leave you to discover by reading a diff.
9. Contact
Questions about what we store: privacy@mobiworth.in, or through the contact page.
