The four steps
- Pick what you want — sell a device, buy one new, buy one refurbished, or look at deals. That chooses which search you are in.
- Name the phone — category, brand, model and storage variant. We only have catalogue entries we could read, so if a model is missing it is missing rather than refused.
- Describe its condition — the answers you give are what the platforms quote against. If you skip this we assume best condition, and say so on the result rather than quietly guessing.
- Read what came back — each platform that answered shows its printed number with a link to the page it came from. Then you leave us, and everything after that — courier, inspection, revised quote, payout — happens on their terms.
Important. MobiWorth does not purchase devices, hold them, or pay for them. Every sale, purchase and exchange is with the platform itself. We are the index, not the counterparty.
Why bother with an index
The same phone is worth different amounts to different buyers, because each platform is working its own inventory, its own promotions and its own grading habits. Checking six sites by hand is the same six searches you could run here in one go — and the reason a comparison is worth a minute is not that the top number is a promise, but that you can see the spread.
What we do not do
- We do not certify, audit or inspect any platform, and we do not rank on service quality
- We do not fill a missing quote with a calculated estimate and call it live
- We do not store payment or banking details, because we never touch a payment
- We do not resolve a dispute — the platform whose page printed the number has to
What a number here actually means
It means the platform's page displayed that figure when we asked. That is the entire claim. Prices move on their site at any moment, condition words are graded differently between platforms, and a final quote is set after an inspection we cannot see and have no rights to. Treat the figure as a pointer you confirm one click later.
The methodology sets out how each figure is read, how freshness is labelled and how offers are ranked. The partner page separates what we know about each platform from what we have not measured.
