The claim, in one sentence. MobiWorth opens each listed partner’s public page for the exact model and storage you chose, reads the amount printed there, and shows it with the page it came from and the time it was checked.
1. What a lookup covers
- The exact model, RAM and storage you selected — not a neighbouring model or variant
- A partner page we can resolve from our public crawl of 7 platforms
- The amount that page prints, read fresh on each search
When a partner page names a different storage, a different RAM or a different model, the lookup fails rather than borrowing the closest figure. A failed lookup is shown as no quote, never as ₹0.
2. How the figure is read
We use structured data the partner publishes: product JSON-LD, embedded page data or the partner’s own variant table. The page must name the same model and the same storage, and where the partner exposes RAM, the same RAM. If more than one variant could match, the lookup fails.
We do not estimate a missing number from depreciation, other models or other partners. A modelled figure would not be a quote, so it is not presented as one.
3. Source labels and freshness
- Checked on partner page — read from that partner’s own public page during your search.
- May have changed — the check is older than our twelve-hour freshness window. It stays visible but is marked as an indication, not a current offer.
- No quote returned — the partner timed out, blocked the lookup, required a signed-in session, or printed no readable price.
We do not use the words “live” or “real-time”. The honest description is the source plus the timestamp, and every offer row carries both.
4. What we do not measure yet
Three things matter to a seller and are not visible on a public listing page. We would rather name them than imply we have them:
- Condition mapping — partners print one headline price per configuration and apply their own grade when they inspect the device. We do not receive condition-specific quotes, so we do not claim your answers map to a partner’s internal grade.
- Quote hold and final payout — how often a displayed figure survives inspection, and by how much it changes.
- Pickup and payment reliability — coverage, pickup timing, payment method and how long a payout takes to arrive.
We will publish reliability figures only after enough verified sale outcomes exist to make them meaningful, and we will show the sample size and date window when we do. See what is known and unknown for each partner.
5. How offers are ranked
The default order is the displayed amount, highest first, among offers that actually returned a usable figure. A partner that returned nothing is listed separately and is never ranked as zero.
Ranking is not paid placement. A referral tag on an outbound link never changes the order. We do not yet offer alternate sorts such as “best reliability” or “fastest pickup”, because we do not have verified data behind them.
6. Commercial disclosure
MobiWorth is free to use and does not require an account. Some outbound links carry a referral tag, and a partner may pay us when a visitor completes a sale after following one. That payment does not change the figure we display or its position in the list.
7. Corrections
Every offer has a “Report a wrong price” link. A useful report includes the partner, the exact model and storage, the amount you saw, and the page where the different figure appears. We check the partner page again and correct or annotate the listing. Reports go to support@mobiworth.in.
8. Limits
- A partner can change its printed price at any moment after we read it
- The binding amount is set after the partner’s physical inspection
- Our coverage is limited to pages we are permitted to read
- We do not audit a partner’s service quality, payment conduct or data handling
The disclaimer sets out the legal position, and how it works walks through the four-step journey.
